PWD’s Activities for October 10, 2025

Date:

Basseterre, Saint Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – As the nation continues to experience the effects of Tropical Storm Jerry, the Public Works Department (PWD) remains fully engaged in its response efforts.

Crews are currently on call and actively deployed to clear storm drains and remove dirt and debris washed onto roadways to maintain safe passage across affected areas.

The PWD urges all motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution during this period of heavy rainfall. Please avoid flooded areas where possible, reduce speed when driving, and remain alert for road crews working to keep the roads clear and safe.
