PWD Advances Road Maintenance and Safety

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The Public Works Department (PWD) will be actively engaged in several key maintenance activities on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to improving road safety and infrastructure.

Concrete road repairs will resume in Phillips, enhancing durability and driving conditions in the area.

The team will also assist the Traffic Department with the erection of traffic signs, helping to improve road safety and traffic management.

In addition, oil and seal works will be carried out on the road leading to Reggae Beach, providing a smoother surface for motorists.
