Article-Based Trackers Expected to Improve Information Flow to the Public

Date:

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) has reinvigorated its campaign to provide the general public with timely updates via its website, water.gov.kn, the website of its parent ministry, mopieudt.gov.kn, and its Facebook page. Working closely with the communications team of the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities, and Domestic Transport, the entity has instituted an article-based tracker dubbed WSD Tracker, to provide a log of the WSD’s activities around the island, specifically focussing on the types of activities which may lead to road obstructions or service interruptions.

The Ministry’s communications team introduced this method of communicating the team’s whereabouts and activities relative to the Public Works Department in 2024, appropriately called Tracker.

The WSD’s leadership hopes the WSD Tracker will be a reliable source of information for the general public, in addition to the other avenues it uses to disseminate information.
